Jeff Swartz

Jeff Swartz represents clients in matters related to patents, trademarks and copyrights, with a focus on patent prosecution. Jeff has drafted and prosecuted patent applications with an emphasis on oilfield exploration and production equipment, including downhole cutting tools, wellbore clearing and junk removal apparatuses, zonal isolation equipment, and drilling fluid filtering and reclamation. Jeff was an intern in the patent development office of a Fortune 50 company where he helped manage aspects of the patent portfolio and worked with outside counsel on foreign prosecution in the European Patent Office.

Jeff is a named inventor on U.S. Patent # 6,443,785, for a "Method and Apparatus for Self-Deploying Rudder Assembly."

Jeff is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is registered before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
